How can I arrange a visit to the Pre School?

When is my child entitled to Nursery Education Funding?

You can claim for your child's Nursery Education Funding the term after they turn three years old. We just ask parents to provide a copy of their child's birth certificate and to fill in the relevant paperwork. We will then take care of the rest for you. We also accept childcare vouchers.

How can I get involved in my child's learning and development?

Parents have access to their child's observation files and learning journals at all times. Staff also provide parents with one to one feedback on their child's daily progress at the end of each session. We encourage parents to get involved within Love and Learn Montessori by coming in and reading a story or baking a cake. A parent's evening is arranged every winter and summer term.

Does my child have snack at nursery?

We provide your child with a mid morning healthy snack which includes fresh fruit, yoghurts, pitta bread and hummus. Children can also choose a drink of milk or water.

How do you plan for my child?

We plan for children on an individual basis to ensure we meet every child's inner needs, enjoyments and interests. We also plan for the children on a group basis to develop the children's social skills such as sharing, turn taking and listening to others. Parents have access to their child's individual plans and we encourage all parents to have an input.
