Why Love and Learn?

The name “Love and Learn” illustrates exactly what we are aiming to offer the children that join our setting.

The word “Love” is about the children joining us and making special friendships and relationships. Love is also about the children feeling comfortable in their environment and respecting and looking after their classroom, the people and the materials within it.

The word “learn” is about the children being given the opportunity to work with wonderful learning materials and learn at their own pace. We hope that the children will enjoy learning with the specialized Montessori materials and grow to become the masters of their own learning.

Our aim is to create a happy, consistent environment to help children develop emotionally, socially, intellectually and physically.
We take a completely holistic approach and neither area of development is more important than the other. Each child will feel safe and secure in an environment that is designed for them and caters for their individaul needs.

Love and Learn believe in children becoming “citizens of the world”. We welcome children from all backgrounds, faiths and cultures. The children who join our setting will learn about the world that we live in and the different countries and cultures that exist within it.
